Sometimes nature is nice, sometimes nature is cruel.
Having 53 chicks in the brooder has my heart happy, it just takes one loss to break my heart.

Donut has been sitting on a chicken egg and her turkey eggs (turkey due to start hatching 4/30) this one hatched but became saran wrapped in it.

This happens when the membrane dries too quickly and encases the chick.
