TBT. Used 3/16” plate and powder coated these Hurricane strength strong tie deck brackets per engineers prints for a house in Anderson township Ohio.
Hoping the engineer was from a coastal city and forgot we don’t get hurricanes here and not a visionary of things to come 🤔. Armageddon it or not ?

Asked my landlord if I could have an exhaust fan put in my shop. They said yes but i needed to get a professional contractor to do it.
Well, It’s been one year since I contacted 9 contractors to either just cut a hole and / or install an exhaust fan and ductwork.
One got back with me with a $8,700 price tag 😳 and one asked about how thick the block was then never called back. The other 7 never called back either so I did it myself. Hope it’s professional enough.
$1,600 in parts and my 8 hours labor.

TBT. My first powder coating project. Chevy valve covers and an alternator bracket. Prep is key but I didn't have a sandblaster then so I had to use cleaning chemicals, a wire wheel and an oven to burn off residue.
