As many of you have probably heard Adam Massman, a senior from Alma Center-Lincoln went to be with Jesus after sustaining injuries from a football game last week.

His mom Brianne and I met when she was a teacher in some of my high school classes. I graduated with her brother Will Prindle and will hold some of those memories for a lifetime.

Brianne's wellness coaching class helped me in so many ways with my mental health in my own journey of life's ups and downs, especially when my own son Drew was taken from me. Her kindness, smile and being lights up a room!

As a graduate from Alma Center- Lincoln myself I wanted to be able to pay it forward especially to such a wonderful family in our community!

So on Sunday August 30th I will have Sunflower bouquets in my stand for sale. All proceeds will go directly to Brianne and her family during this unimaginable time.

The stand will be open at 9 am-? Come out and pick up some beautiful sunflowers for Adam! ❤️🌻🖤

Another bucket to bouquet 💐

Can you tell we are definitely heading towards the fall colors! Way back when we planned our grow list…we had this color palette in mind for late summer and fall. As much as I hate to see summer go, these moody colors sure are satisfying.

Our friend Heidi perfectly captured these images of us girls. It was such an honor to welcome her again to our flower field to photograph our family and our flower farm. We will enjoy these photos for years to come. My only regret is that we are missing my beautiful niece, Olivia. Guess we will have to do another photo shoot next year too! 🩷💐🩷

Something so special about flowers is that they provide comfort during times of grief. They are a token of love. They are a gift of celebration. They are a symbol of accomplishment and gratitude. They are a simple appreciation of their beauty or a just because gift.

We have had the honor of providing our community with flowers for all of these occasions over the past week. We celebrate those for celebration. We also feel for and pray for those going through loss and unimaginable grief.

We’ve had so many moments and crops to celebrate with this season…However, we’ve had many crop failures as well. The biggest being our pumpkin patch. We planted over 1400 pumpkin and squash seeds, and we maybe have 40 pumpkins in the field. 🥺 We were so excited for some new varieties but have no fear…we will try again next year!

We had a change of plans and will be home all day…we will keep the stand open till 8 pm or until sold out. We have 6 bouquets left and they are gorgeous! 💗
