Day Plumbing and Heating is looking to add another dynamic team member to our already outstanding crew. Come work in the mountains while being close to home! We are currently hiring for a Heat Service Technician.

Job Responsibilities include:
- Service and Maintenance of Hydronic Heating Systems
- Replacement of Hydronic Heating Systems
- Miscellaneous Plumbing Service as well

Qualifications include:
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Knowledge of Hydronic Heating Systems
- Licensed Plumber preferred

Day Plumbing and Heating has been in business since 1974. We have entered into a new chapter under new ownership. We are a small company with 10 employees but we are growing. We primarily do work on new custom homes and plumbing and heating service in the Evergreen, Conifer, Golden and Morrison area. Our shop is a nice 12 minute drive from the intersection of Highway 285 and C470.

Job Duties
Provides administrative support for office and field staff as well as customers.

Essential Functions

Answers phone, route calls and assist customers.
Performs administrative support functions such as data entry,
typing, filing, reviewing and processing paperwork. This is not a bookkeeping position, but some basic knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred.
Types a variety of materials that may include proposals, change orders, invoices and fixture lists.
Orders and coordinates material deliveries.
Schedule and dispatch service calls.
May run errands and/or deliver material to job sites on occasion.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements – Must Have
-Valid Driver’s License
-2 years of clerical / office experience
-Experience with Microsoft products. Word/Excel/Outlook
-Exceptional customer service skills
-Organization skills
-Positive Attitude / the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, suppliers and customers
-Ability to be self motivated
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Ability to use standard computer equipment and software including word, spreadsheets and email

Preferences – We would like you to have:
-Quickbooks experience
-Clockshark experience
-Dispatch / scheduling experience
-Knowledge of plumbing and/or construction

Hourly
$18-$22 an hour

Looking for a hard working individual to join our team. 3-5 years experience installing Boilers and Furnaces preferred. Training and time on the job with our experienced staff will be provided.
Experience

Is there a room in your house that is too hot in the summer?
Day Plumbing and Heating now installs Mini Split systems.
Mini Splits are heating and cooling systems that allow you to control the temperatures in individual rooms. Mini-split heat pumps and A/C units make good retrofit add-ons to houses with “non-ducted” heating systems, such as hydronic (hot water heat), radiant panels, and space heaters (wood, kerosene, propane). They can also be a good choice for room additions where extending or installing ductwork is not feasible, and energy efficient new homes that require only a small space conditioning system.

Just a quick note to all of our friends and neighbors. We have had to shut down 5 boilers and furnaces in the last few weeks until we can either repair or replace them.

The reason? Carbon Monoxide.

Even if you don't take advantage of Day Plumbing and Heating's fall tune up special, please make sure you have carbon monoxide detectors close to your mechanical room and close to all bedrooms. They can save lives.
