Today was a hard one.

While removing a tree yesterday, we discovered a litter of kittens nearly 25 feet up. Sadly, only one survived the fall. We rushed him to a local vet, and for the last 24 hours he fought hard.

Unfortunately, he passed away today.

This line of work puts us in nature every day, and sometimes things happen that stick with you long after the job is done. We did everything we could to give the little guy a chance, and we’re thankful he was warm, cared for, and not alone in his final hours. They even made him his own special little blanket ❤️

Not every job goes how you expect.

Today we were taking down a tree and found a litter of kittens about 25 feet up. By the time the tree came down, they hit the pavement… and unfortunately only one survived.

Without hesitation we grabbed the little guy and got him to a local vet right away. He’s only about 2 weeks old, but he’s a fighter.

The vet is going to care for him for the next 6 weeks, and after that… he’s coming home with us.

Jobs like this are a reminder that we’re working in nature every day, and sometimes the unexpected happens. We’re just thankful we were able to save one.

We’ll keep you updated on his journey 🐾❤️
