On April 1st, on the shores of Indian Rocks Beach, FL along the Gulf of Mexico, 7 paddlers in OC1s (2) and Surfskis (5) lined up for the first annual Tocobaga Draft. The Captain's meeting included a moment of silence for fallen surfskier David Bell along with a few words from the town's mayo

The Heka Tahi Surf and Paddle Club is live on the interwebs with many interested high school students. We are still looking for at least 15 business partners to fulfill our first t-shirt goal!

Thank you for liking our page! A few things to look out for as we work through the legal paperwork and construction.
1. For surf ski people: we are expecting an exciting delivery in early July and will be setting up demos then. Stay patient, stay tuned!
2. For high school students: Heka Tahi Paddle and Surf will be in session mid July. I will not be coaching swimming at Dixie Hollins High but will be promoting fitness through water as a separate entity from public schools. Please spread the word if you are interested and stay tuned for more details!
