Our company received a phone call today that spoofed First Energy's number. The very foreign sounding man on the phone(who also sounded like he was in a large call center) was calling regarding a disconnect notice supposedly sent on 6/22 that had not been responded to. He provided our correct address and once I confronted him with the fact that I am a customer of REA Energy Cooperative, Inc. he very quickly hung up.
Please be mindful and never give someone who calls you any information!! Please hang up and call your provider directly to inquire!!
