🚧 Project Spotlight: South Main Street Road Construction

A roadway is more than just a route from one place to another. It connects people, businesses, and the communities they call home.

The Town of Fairmount is investing in improvements along South Main Street, a key corridor through downtown Fairmount. JQOL is providing transportation engineering, surveying, and construction inspection services for this project, which will include roadway reconstruction, sidewalk and curb improvements, ADA upgrades, and targeted drainage improvements.

Through thoughtful planning and design, this project will help create a safer, more accessible corridor while preserving the connection this roadway provides within the community.

had the opportunity to join for the Architecture & Design Career Pathway Summer Camp. Students were challenged to design their "dream bedroom" with guidance from the SKA and JQOL staff and learned the importance of architecture and engineering through this process throughout the week.

Needless to say, our team thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are so grateful to Lilly Vance and the whole Studio Kremer Architects team for including us in an opportunity to help kids see a future career in the AEC industry.

What was once an underutilized industrial property is being reimagined as the future home of Global Preparatory Academy. By giving new purpose to an existing building, the project will create a vibrant middle school campus serving up to 325 students while revitalizing the surrounding community.
