Another incredible year (our 15th) at FDIC in the books for 1-800-BOARDUP of Central Indiana!

We were proud to see a steady stream of firefighters, investigators, and EMS professionals stop by our booth. The conversations, connections, and shared commitment to service are what make this event so special every year.

It was an honor to once again host the Executive Board annual meeting for the Firefighter Cancer Support Network, a mission we are deeply committed to supporting. We were also proud to close out the week by presenting a $15,000 donation to FCSN to help continue their critical work for firefighters and their families.

Adding to the excitement, our Director of Emergency Services from Louisville, Kentucky won a 25th Anniversary 9/11/01 (2025) Harley-Davidson, an unforgettable moment!

We also appreciated Firefighter Fenton from Fire Dept. Coffee, one of our valued brand sponsors, stopping by the booth for a quick visit and photo.

Thank you to everyone who made this week such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year!

We were honored to attend and be a large part of the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation’s “A Night of Honor.”

When the world stopped … they stood. That moment forever changed the fire service, and continues to shape the courage, and commitment, we carry today.

1-800-BOARDUP is a long-standing partner with the NFFF, helping ensure their mission never fades. Tonight we sponsored 13 tables at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.

Recently, 1-800-BOARDUP of Central Indiana, with the help of sponsors, was able to gift a brand-new trailer to the Indianapolis Fire Department’s Fire and Life Safety Division.

The day-long event also included a fire safety education class for second-grade students from Little Flower Catholic School.

The trailer will be used to deliver hands-on fire safety education to children across Indianapolis and surrounding communities through the efforts of the IFD Fire and Life Safety Division and Professional Firefighters Local 416’s Survive Alive program.

We can’t thank you enough for your partnership.

1-800-BOARDUP and Midwest Remediation, in coordination with generous donations from Ryan Fire Protection Services, Bravo Construction, LionHeart, and Viega, helped secure this enclosed trailer for the Indianapolis Fire Department’s Fire and Life Safety Division.

Around noon on Sunday, 1-800-BoardUp of Central Indiana was dispatched to the Johnson County Juvenile Detention Center in Franklin after a man deliberately drove a truck into the facility. The vehicle had “Fathers Matter” painted on its tailgate and crashed into the building while employees and detainees were inside. Fortunately, no one was injured.

“This wasn’t just vandalism,” stated Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess. “This was a targeted, intentional act that put the lives of innocent people — people simply doing their jobs — directly in harm’s way. It’s very fortunate no one was killed or injured.”

1-800-BOARDUP crews responded quickly, completing the cleanup and securing the facility to ensure safety. Thanks to their swift work, the detention center is expected to resume normal operations first thing Monday morning.
