Our process is about taking a massive, overwhelming amount of information: your daily routines, the landscape, the natural light and distilling it down into a single, holistic idea. For us, that output is a building. But more importantly, it’s a refuge. When we sit down to design your home, we want to explore every possibility without getting hung up on the rigid logistics of snapping lines on a screen. A pencil allows us to quickly and efficiently capture the emotion and intention behind a space. It’s the most authentic way to confirm exactly how a building should feel. Before we draft a single floor plan, we make sure the emotional foundation is right, because true custom architecture should improve your daily life.

Long before a space is built, it starts as a feeling on a piece of paper, or at least for us. Sketching is what originally led Clete to architecture because seeing a truly great hand drawn architectural plan is and can be moving! A house shouldn’t just be dropped onto a piece of land... It needs to belong there.

At ONE10 Studio, we believe every home needs context. When a custom home is thoughtfully designed, it responds to its surroundings the scale of the site, the natural materials, the path of the sun, and the quiet sounds of the neighborhood.
