At Vandell, the experience is built around atmosphere, intimacy, and the art of slowing down. Designed by our team, the space layers together warm materials, low lighting, and thoughtfully scaled rooms to create a cocktail destination that feels both timeless and deeply rooted in Los Feliz.
Inside, guests move between a central 12-seat bar, quiet banquette seating, intimate booths, and a hidden lounge inspired by Japanese whisky culture and rare single malts. A 30-foot soapstone bar, tiled floors, and wood-and-leather detailing reference classic hospitality spaces while maintaining a contemporary restraint.
The menu follows the same philosophy — focused, elevated, and intentional — pairing seasonal cocktails and curated spirits with a refined food offering designed for lingering evenings and repeat visits.
Anchored by a custom neighborhood mural from local artist Molly Bounds and expanding soon with dog-friendly sidewalk seating, Vandell was imagined as more than a cocktail bar: it’s a neighborhood gathering place designed to evolve with its community.
