A group of past and present members of our crew showed up to help our friend and former employee Megan Bruinsma rebuild part of Crider’s Dance Hall after the Guadalupe River floods on July 4th, 2025. They gave up their weekend and went to work building new bathrooms and a green room for the dancehall.
I’m proud of these guys. Their integrity and willingness to show up for a friend says everything about who they are.
Grateful to be a small part of rebuilding a place that means so much to my family. I look forward to the day my kids, and one day their kids, get to enjoy Crider’s the same way so many of us have.
Proud of this crew and proud to run with men like this.

This project carries a lot of history and heart. The Boles Children’s Home (originally Boles Children’s Orphanage) campus was established in 1924. Late last year, I had the responsibility of carefully demolishing two of the three original buildings that had stood on this campus for over a century. Rather than letting that history disappear, we’re salvaging materials from those structures to build a pavilion that will serve as a tribute to the buildings and the lives they once sheltered.

Arms of Hope has been a meaningful part of my life for the past 10 years, so being trusted to take part in the design and build of this project is truly an honor. Grateful for the opportunity to preserve the past while helping shape what comes next.

Wrapping up 2 of 5 Duplex conversions on a campus in Bastrop, Tx.

Hammering through the dry-in phase for the first set of elevated cabins overlooking the Nueces River. Roofing and interior work are scheduled to begin early next year.
