This is going to be a doozy, be patient with me and all the other plow drivers. I won’t be answering calls and texts, I’ll get there when I get there😘

Pretty simple here folks..... the biggest snow we have had in a long while around these parts is set to roll in later today and last thru tomorrow and maybe in to early Monday....
There will be a sharp cutoff in totals to the north, so areas north of the 3-6 band may see an inch or 2. In southern and especially SW Minnesota, there may be a mix of sleet and snow as well as some dry air for a while that will keep totals a bit lower in that area if that comes to fruition.... the dry air across southern MN is a tad concerning... especially for snow lovers....
The plus signs on the totals across central Minnesota are simply due to the fact there will likely be localized areas that see higher amounts due to the nature of this storm and the heavy snows associated with it, much like in a summer time storm where a storm cell can develop intense rains over a small area then weaken and strengthen back up....
As I have been posting about for a couple of days, just be prepared, don't make any unnecessary travel tomorrow... it's not worth it.
On top of the heavy snowfall, tomorrow we will see winds start to get strong again as the system starts to move away which will cause lots of blowing and drifting snow as well as blizzard conditions in many areas....
Get out and do your things today and enjoy a Sunday with your families 😀
Make it a GREAT Saturday!
