Ever wonder what happens when you tell a landscaping crew, “It should only take about 20 minutes”? 😂

That’s usually when things get interesting.

The bolt breaks.
The equipment won’t start.
Someone forgot the one tool we actually need.
And suddenly, that 20-minute job has turned into a two-hour adventure. 🤦‍♂️

But hey, that’s just another day in the landscaping business!

Around JBM, we’ve learned that sometimes you just have to laugh, figure it out, and keep moving.

Now we want to hear from you!

👇 What’s the ONE project you started thinking it would take 20 minutes… and somehow it took the entire day?

We know we’re not the only ones! 😂

October In Michigan

MICHIGAN HOMEOWNERS… WE NEED TO TALK!

It’s that wonderful time of year when you can mow your lawn, clean up the leaves, put your equipment away, turn around…

AND IT LOOKS LIKE YOU NEVER DID A THING! 🤦‍♂️🤣

Meanwhile, the grass is still growing, the leaves keep falling, and somewhere in Michigan, a snowplow is warming up just to keep us on our toes.

At JBM, we’re just trying to figure out if we should load the mowers, leaf blowers, or snowplows tomorrow morning.

Alright, let’s settle something…

👇 What’s the ONE outdoor chore you absolutely HATE doing?

🍂 Raking leaves
🌱 Mowing grass
❄️ Shoveling snow
🌳 Picking up sticks and branches

Or is there something worse? Let’s hear it!

Good morning, everybody!

Well, it’s October in Michigan, which means three things: the leaves are falling, the temperatures are dropping, and somewhere out there, somebody’s still telling their wife they’ll get that yard project finished before winter!

At JBM Property Solutions, we’re here to help with all three!

We’re still out mowing lawns, and we’ll probably be mowing right through the end of October. But we’re also scheduling fall cleanups, leaf removal, trimming, and getting properties ready for winter.

We’re also scheduling snow removal and salting services, and believe it or not, Christmas light installations are right around the corner!

So, if you know somebody who’s looking at a yard full of leaves, an unfinished landscaping project, or who’s already dreading the first snowfall, send them our way.

Remember, if it grows tall, the snow starts to fall, or you need a retaining wall — give JBM a call!

😂 Alright husbands… JBM is offering a new service!

Got a project your wife has been asking you to finish all summer?

For a small fee, we’ll show up in our professional JBM uniforms, take a serious look at it, shake our heads a few times, and explain to her why the project is WAY more complicated than she thinks. 😂

We’ve got your back, guys.

BUT ladies… there’s a catch. 👀

If there’s a project you’ve been asking him to do for the last 6 months and you’re tired of hearing, “I’ll get to it this weekend,” give JBM a call.

We might just come over and actually get it done. 😂

Alright, let’s hear it…

👇 What project has been sitting on YOUR to-do list the longest?

No judgment. We all have one!

What beautiful weather we’re having on this October day

10/05/2026

🎄 Yep… we’re talking Christmas already!

It might only be October, but we’re already starting to fill the schedule for Christmas light and garland installations.

If you love having the house decorated for Christmas but don’t love dragging out the ladder, fighting with tangled lights, or freezing your fingers off trying to get everything hung, let JBM take care of it this year.

✨ Christmas light installation
🎄 Garland and holiday decorating
🏠 Residential and commercial properties
🪜 And best of all… you stay off the ladder!

We’ll be sharing more of our Christmas work over the next few weeks, but if you already know you want your house decorated this year, now is a good time to get in

Thinking about selling your home? You don’t have to wait until you’re ready to put a sign in the yard to start planning. A quick conversation about your home’s value, what buyers are looking for, and what improvements may be worth making can help you feel prepared when the time is right.

And there’s no need to make it complicated. Let’s meet right at my office in downtown Ionia and chat over a cup of coffee.
