I was able to finally get the 212 put back together and gave the rototiller a try. It's first run in 11years. I got this tiller from the original owners son. He said his dad bought it new with a tractor in 1978. I'm glad the old iron lives. Now some updates and many more years of use. 🙏🙏 Garden time.

On my jobs I get lots of time to think being by myself. Today while mowing a clients yard, I noticed the grass overtaking the cement. Do I charge to go above and beyond? No. I took it upon myself to give back a little and help. Why? Because my goal is to not only complete the job but alleviate a little stress. Coming home to a more relaxed and better looking property subconsciously can make all the difference in the world. I want to help and make thing better but in the lesser known ways too. Maybe the barn is more appealing to go too, and feels less like a chore. Maybe a customer is subconscious about property judgement like me and cares what people think. I try to always care like the task at hand is for my own self. I'm a particular kind of guy. Helping people helps me. Too all of you who allow me. Thank you. 🙏

I don't get much time for self projects but tonight I was able to get the tiller mounted after making some quick hitch studs. Thankful for the Deere community online and being able to locate parts as well on the other side of the state. We are going to give this old iron a long life. Thankful for the wife being patient with me during this watching the kids. 🙏

"One man's trash is another man's treasure."

I grew up a little on the "poor" side and if I wanted something I had to find out and make do with what I had. Use my head and figure it out. So when I see an opportunity I try to take it. This mower was deemed inoperable or not worth saving but after an hour of research from many different angles I was able to find the cheapest parts to replace the bad tank. Walah! Back to life. Needs the blade sharpened but she's a runner.
