REMINDER. STAY ALERT

Please remember Scott Welch's daughter Ashlynn Penny in your prayers. She had let the pups out about midnight 2 nights ago. They raised a ruckus near the iris flower bed that is no longer there. The pup got bit on the head by a baby venomous Western Diamondback rattlesnake with only a button. It can do the rattle actions but unless it's tail is against something that makes sound there is no rattle sound.
She went to check out what was going on and got bit on the leg. No pain so she thought it was a dry/ warning bite, 30 minutes later pain and swelling told her otherwise and Bianca took her to the emergency room.
I talked with Scott around 8:30pm and he said no anti venom was administered. We won't go into details at this time for the trauma surgeons reasoning for that decision. Pain from foot to her knee, and couldn't put any weight on it. Morphine wasn't killing the pain totally.

If you get a bite and pain and swelling, remove restrictive items, keep elevated at least 45° above your heart, stay calm and head to the emergency room.
Wichita Falls area, that means head to the Metroplex not United Regional.
We will keep you updated and Scott will probably be posting pics before long.

It's first motorcycle ride, and yes it was on a Harley Davidson. Was relocated today.

Had to pickup another venomous Western Diamondback rattlesnake, as you can tell the one already in the bucket is very upset. How many times does it strike upwards. Yes, because of the heat I stopped and bought cold water before putting it in my saddlebag. It was relocated this morning at an authorized undisclosed location that is safe for it and the property owner.

Got a call from Electra PD about 2am this morning. Sorry about not doing good on the video, I was tired and had to get back home for a nap to be up at 5:30 for a 12hr shift at 7am

If you think that rattlesnakes are hard to locate then be extremely glad we don't have copperheads in the Wichita Falls area (yet).
This is from Copperhead Den and all native snakes are welcome and safe on their property. Yes they also have their home and live there, these people are definitely aware of where they put their hands and feet at all times.

Wednesday April 15 I will be out of town for the day and unable to answer any call outs from messages but Scott will be in the area. I will be at DFW airport in a motorcycle es**rt to Gainesville for Congressional Medal of Honor recipients. These veterans almost gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives to earn (Not Win) this medal, winning requires a competition and what they went through was never an event to win a trophy but to keep their military brothers, sisters, and themselves alive.
If you are available and either want to ride or view the es**rt you just have to get the information by googling or a simple FB search. Motorcycle es**rt starts at DFW airport (I suggest getting there at least an hour before KSU (kick stands up), I myself will be riding with a group leaving Wichita Falls about 7:30-8am and probably be about mid pack if not further back. If you just want to see the procession then just find a spot on the north bound side of I-35 and watch for the Law Enforcement Vehicles and listen for the rumble of hundreds of motorcycles (last year had about 6-7 hundred and stretched out at times up around 8-10 miles. The CMH es**rt page will tell the location and start time so you can plan on where you want to be and not spend all day under a hot Texas sun. Riders it doesn't cost anything but some fuel and showing respect for these real heroes and definitely some common sense during the es**rt.

I want to start by saying that I am very sorry, seen a comment on a post that notified me today that said a week ago that just got in my notifications. I have put my correct phone number on the contact us so that we are again just a phone call or text away from helping anyone that in need of assistance. I thought I had changed it but I did correct it as soon as I seen her comment.

It's that time again. Snakes are coming out to sun and then returning back to their shelter in the evening. We prefer not to kill them but relocate to an undisclosed authorized large property. Yes, we do have a couple of minor charges, otherwise we can be totally free. We do accept donations, we also know things are tight these days and will never turn anyone away because they are living paycheck to paycheck robbing Peter to pay Paul. Contact us to schedule an inspection/removal.

Charges
50+ miles one way from the Iowa Park/Archer City area - $50/+

Trailer house with plastic group v***r barrier with 5+ rattlesnakes under the plastic. This can turn a couple hr inspection into a 1/2 day inspection/removal. $50

No show up fee, confined quarters, or per snake charges ever
