Ipswich Local News recently covered the restoration of the "Little Red School House" in Boxford. We are proud to be continuing the construction management for this project and it is nice to see the students of Agricultural and Technical High School highlighted in the article.

We are currently in the process of staging our newest custom home build and the view of Twin Lights on Thatcher Island in Rockport from our client's yard can't be beat! We are excited to be working with Brigid Williams of Hickox-Williams Architects as well as landscape architect Naomi Cottrell of Crowley Cottrell, LLC. Stay tuned for ongoing updates with this project!

It has been some time since we've updated our website so we are working once again With David West from Born Imagery to capture photos of some of our recent jobs over the next few months. David is a builder turned photographer which gives him a great eye for architecture. Photographing a job is an all day event and consists of interior images as well as exterior images, sometimes captured with a drone. The day ends with the beautiful twilight photos that we have featured in previous posts.

Not all of our projects are as involved as our custom home builds but we still take great pride in our renovation projects. At another waterfront home in Gloucester, we are in the finish phases of installing a new kitchen, renovating bathrooms, installing new flooring, as well as new windows and doors. Fresh paint has brightened up the interior and the clients' finish choices highlight their personal style!

Project Update: Rocky Neck Custom Home Build
We have reached an important turning point in our most recent custom home build on the water front of Gloucester Harbor. The exterior and interior framing have been completed and most of the exterior siding and interior plastering are done as well. Time to turn this house into a home with beautiful finishes! Flooring has been laid on the 1st and 2nd floor, tiling is underway and the installation of the kitchen cabinetry has begun. This is an exciting time for the clients as they can really start to see things coming together and know they are getting closer to enjoying their new home!

When we are building a new home and the framing has been completed, an important step before we begin insulation and plastering is to take rough frame photos of the interior. This allows us to know where all of the plumbing and electrical elements are within the walls. At the end of the project, we present the client with a "Close-Out" binder which includes a thumb drive with the rough frame photos, appliance specs and manuals, plumbing and electrical fixtures, paint schedules, etc. The information in these binders make future repairs/replacements easy to achieve!
