Sod Installation – Troutman, NC

This yard was left uneven after septic work and the dogs kept tracking mud into the house. We Harley raked and lightly graded the area, added topsoil, installed a new 4” corrugated drain pipe from the downspouts, and finished it with 5 pallets of TifTuf Bermuda sod from Super-Sod.

Now the yard is smooth, clean, and ready to grow in.

Another clean mulch refresh ✔️

• Removed all w**ds
• Re-defined the beds with a hand-cut shovel edge (natural edge, no plastic)
• Installed fresh brown decorative mulch

A sharp spade edge makes a big difference — it gives the beds a crisp line against the lawn and keeps everything looking maintained and professional.

If your beds are starting to fade or lose their shape, this is one of the best ways to bring everything back to life.

Another lighting project completed ✔️

We installed a full low-voltage landscape lighting system throughout the property, adding pathway lights along the walkways and accent lighting to highlight the home and surrounding landscaping. The goal was a clean, warm glow that improves visibility at night without harsh brightness.

Now the walkways, entry areas, and beds are safely illuminated while also bringing out the home’s features after dark.

Landscape lighting not only improves curb appeal, but also makes moving around the property at night much safer.

Recent project completed ✔️

We removed old pine straw, pulled w**ds and surface roots, and re-shaped all the bed edges to bring the definition back. After prepping the beds, we installed fresh mulch evenly throughout the island to give it a clean finished look and help with moisture retention and w**d prevention.

Spring is coming up so it’s a good time to get beds cleaned up and ready before the growing season starts.

Now scheduling upcoming projects.

✅ Project Completed!
We just wrapped up a full landscape and hardscape install, and the results speak for themselves! 🌟

Here’s what we did:
🧱 Installed a Belgard retaining wall using Diamond Pro blocks in Timberline (Plantation)
🚶‍♂️ Poured a concrete walkway with integrated PVC drainage sleeves
🌿 Planted a mix of vibrant and low-maintenance plants:
• 4 Loropetalum ‘Crimson Fire’
• 4 Azalea ‘Autumn Fire’
• 4 Ilex ‘Touch of Gold’
• 2 Pennisetum Hameln grasses
🪨 Finished it off with New England River Rock for a crisp, clean look

We designed this with both beauty and function in mind — now the yard has structure, style, and great drainage.
