Miron Construction’s “Build Like a Girl” Trades Day is a great opportunity for girls to learn more about construction and the skilled trades through hands-on activities and experiences.

We’d love to see our members encourage their daughters, granddaughters, nieces, and family friends to check it out and explore the opportunities the trades can offer.

Congratulations Ellie!! We hope that you’ve had a wonderful first year & look forward to your future in teaching!

We are back with a new . Today we are highlighting Ellie Nedeau, daughter of Laborers Union 1329 member Michael Nedeau.
"Growing up, I remember hearing my parents talk about being in a union and how important it is, and it wasn't until recently that I learned exactly what that meant. My dad receives incredible benefits as a LIUNA member; they back their workers and make sure they are paid a wage that is worthy of their hard work. Because of this, my dad is able to provide for our family and is able to supply us with everything we need."
Currently, Ellie is attending Ferris State Univeristy a degree in Elementary Education in the hope of becoming a teacher.
Congratulations Ellie, we look forward to hearing about your future success!
