Fall project update! We’re building a laundry cabin for the Stanley Shores Condo Association. It is replacing the old poolhouse/game room. — it’s a smaller building, 16’x16’ but wil have everything needed to keep the cabins on the lake nice and clean for all the renters and it’s coming together fast. Exterior wrap is on, siding is next, and the roof shingles should be finished by the end of today, Inside is fully framed and ready for drywall. Loving the progress!

Winter is for interiors. We currently have a couple openings for indoor projects — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, finishing work, etc.

Here’s another interior remodel we did. It’s an entry room on a home that we redid the kitchen in a little while back. They loved the kitchen and wanted the room before it to be updated and modernized to flow right into the kitchen. I think we nailed it.

We completely gutted this room, took out the flat ceiling and vaulted it to give it a more open feel, we also reframed the closest and added a pantry for extra storage since it is next to the kitchen. Also, this room was an addition on the home so there is no basement under it, it has a concrete slab so we brought the floor up some so that we could level it, and also insulate it to prevent walking around on cold floors. We installed drywall and painted it to match the kitchen, and also installed custom trim work to match the custom trim we installed in the kitchen. This project was a blast and turned out amazing.

Here’s another update, interior finish of a home project we took over.

Full upstairs remodel: framing, insulation, drywall and paint, trim, engineered hardwood flooring upstairs. Waiting of a few doors, a couple new windows, and we can get those installed and trim out the upstairs then finish off the look with a set of custom maple stair treads.

Downstairs: cleaned up the drywall, fresh paint, reinstalled the original trim for a distressed/craftsman look, finished kitchen cabinets, installed and sealed the custom herringbone countertops and the flooring, really taking shape.

Still lots more to do here, eventually we’ll be building a new deck to enter the front of the home as we moved and redid the old deck and moved it to the side of the house, we’ll be redoing the front entry by changing up the framing to a more craftsman look and installing tongue and groove on the walls and ceiling to finish off the look, and finally we will be redoing the siding on the exterior of the home.

Not as many pictures as I’d like to have but sometimes we’re too busy diving into a project to pull the phones out and get the pictures of the progress along the way.
