"Today we repaired a 2-inch well that we drilled in 1999. After 27 years of service, we installed a new pump and tank, and replaced the jet and foot valve. Here is a look at the before and after!"

To help prevent freezing issues with your well as cold winter weather approaches, please consider installing a light bulb or small space heater in your well house, applying heat tape (being careful not to melt any plastic), sealing any cracks, and allowing your faucet to drip. If your power goes out and you do not have a heat source to prevent freezing, insulate the well house as best as possible. You can also open hose bibs and faucets to drain the system.

We have some low temperatures in the forecast so make sure to be prepared.
Ways to prevent freezing:
-insulating your well house
-providing some type of heat source like a light bulb or heat tape or small space heater (be careful not to touch plastic that could melt or anything that could start a fire)
-leave faucet dripping during the cold nights
