Does your crawl space look like this? This home had a water leak but the humidity over the summer can and does cause this as well.

If you ignore this it can cause mold and mildew which effects the air IN your home. Also the water can cause the wood to swell, which leads to floors buckling and your joist to rot.

We removed all old insulation, polyurethane and debris. Treated the floor for mold and, after the drying process, reinstalled new insulation and 6 mil polyurethane ground cover.
