A little home repair secrete: to remove black scuff marks in porcelain sinks and tubs surfaces use Bar Keepers Friend. You can buy it at Home Depot. Pour some of it on the surface, mix with a little water, rub the marks out with your finger, rinse and they will be gone.

With the latest rain, it's good to know, flood and water restoration company's in the state of California are NOT covered under the state's contracting laws for drying out your home. Be very careful when signing their contracts, avoid any requests to pay up front, and make sure you are not stuck with a potentially huge bill that's not covered by your insurance company.
