Job Responsibilities:

General Work Responsibilities Include:
Cabinet + Mill Work Installation
Window, Door + Hardware Installation
Trim Work + Casing Installation
Interior + Exterior Light Gauge Framing
Drywall Installation
Acoustical + Batt Insulation Installation
Floor + Wall Tile Installation
Fixture Installation
Floor Installation
Ability to Read + Understand Architectural + Lay Out Drawings

Requirements:
Must have OSHA 30 hour.
MUST be able to work well with a team, get to work on time, and act professionally.
Pictures of past work required.
References highly recommend but not required.
Must be a U.S. citizen OR have a work authorization card
Perform all work in safe and efficient manner.
Perform various manual and skilled labor tasks including but not limited to flooring, framing, excavation, concrete, tiling, drywall, finishing etc.
Must have high level of finish in all aspects of work.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
Overseeing of material unloading, inventory and proper storage of doors, door hardware, cabinets and trim deliveries.
Preferably a College graduate.
Self-motivator and team player.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to anticipate problems, troubleshoot and create a viable solution to solve problems.
Must have finishing experience and skills required to install finished millwork, doors, base, and hardware.
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work within an established construction organization and to follow through on tasks provided
Must have similar/current experience with other named high-end residential contractors and to be able to read blueprints
Valid drivers license required
Understand and communicate in English – both in person and via phone/text message
Daily communicating & scheduling with subcontractors, vendors, and building management.
Daily communicating with project manager and site supervisor, ensuring all materials and tools are on-site.
Daily project documentation.
Must be a rounded person with knowledge of all aspects of construction.
Must be high level finish carpenter.
Must be able to take command and find solutions.
Must be punctual (on-time is late, early is on-site).
Must maintain an immaculately clean, well protected, organized, and safe job-site.
Must maintain a positive attitude and motivate on-site team.
Must be clean cut, maintain a professional appearance, and be able to work under pressure.
Must have ALL of your own tools
Compensation is Based on Experience
No health or retirement benefits are offered at this time
Must be able to establish all benchmarks, axis lines and be able to use all the latest laser technology for ex*****on of work
Education, Experience, and Licensing

Requirements:
High school diploma is an asset
5 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry
Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation

Full time, $20-30 per hour, 401k, PTO, Vacation, Monday through Friday (Overtime available)

We are searching for an attentive, dexterous Cabinet Maker to oversee the creation of cabinetry from start to finish.

To this end, the Cabinet Maker will be responsible for hand-picking the most suitable materials, constructing the cabinets, and then applying appropriate finishes. You should ensure adherence to our stylistic and technical requirements at all times.

To be successful as a Cabinet Maker, you should be able to engage in physical activity for extended periods of time.

Ultimately, an outstanding Cabinet Maker will suggest additions to our catalog and improvements to workflow, with the ultimate goal of facilitating our company's growth.

Cabinet Maker Responsibilities:
• Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task.
• Cutting resources down to size, as needed.
• Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time.
• Creating standard and custom components of cabinets.
• Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product.
• Applying sealant, varnish, and paint to cabinets, if required.
• Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately, and that the necessary finishes have been applied.
• Repairing elements of cabinets that have been sent in for servicing.
• Wearing the requisite uniform and taking necessary precautions to remain safe.
• Advising on appropriate care for finished products upon request.

Cabinet Maker Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship will be advantageous.
• Prior experience as a Cabinet Maker, with a portfolio of completed works.
• The ability to visualize spaces to create appropriate furniture.
• Good arithmetic skills.
• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship.
• Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

We are a woodworking/custom millwork shop specializing in high-end detail oriented residential and commercial work, urban lumber acquisition and general contract construction, currently looking to expand our team.

If you are an experienced woodworker, craftsperson, a novice or hobbyist with an interest in developing your woodworking skills we would love to talk to you about our current open positions.

Our ideal candidate(s) is someone who at minimum has basic carpentry skills, is familiar in using hand tools and power tools (however, we are willing to train the right person) and is:

Interested in maintaining a career in woodworking or further developing their woodworking skill set
Dependable and punctual
Flexible with project assignment and open to new opportunities on a daily/weekly basis
Self motivated and able to work independently and/or as a team member with a collaborative, positive mindset
The skills and abilities required for mid-upper level positions are:

Familiarity and proficiency with woodworking tools and equipment including but not limited to: tables saws, jointers, planers, routers and sawmills
Strict adherence to safety protocols and standards
Ability to read shop drawings
Detail oriented with a focus on delivering high quality results‬‬
Strong organizational skills
2+ years experience in a similar millwork or woodworking environment, preferred
