Tavernier Creek New Build is officially a wrap.
While the original home was built in 1993 and relatively modern, like many Keys properties the lower level sat below flood elevation. Remodeling restrictions would have limited both the layout and the homeowners’ long-term goals.
By rebuilding, we were able to elevate the first floor above flood—an essential move for safety, insurance, resilience, and future value in the Keys. The result is a home with 10’ ceilings downstairs, a grand foyer, improved flow, and open, light-filled living spaces designed to withstand coastal conditions while feeling elevated in every sense.

The best part is walking through gorgeous homes and seeing happy customers. Built on Duck Key, this concrete, ground level home is not only beautiful but strong enough to weather those hurricanes that show up from time to time. Above flood, impact windows and doors, CBS construction with a metal roof. The inside is bright and open with beach inspired finishes. Congrats to the homeowners. We wish you many happy years here.
