160 helical piles, 90 feet down, before there’s anything of the house to actually look at.

Out here the ground doesn’t offer much — sand, marsh mud, and a water table with its own opinion.

So you go past it until you find something that holds.

Glazing complete at 508 Ocean.

Every opening on the house is set. It’s the single biggest element of the build — the ocean elevation is all glass to take in the incredible Atlantic Ocean views— and it’s behind us.

Next up: Accoya from Delta Millworks so the orange can go away for good.

We knew from the first set of drawings that these could not be overlooked. Details like this either read right or they don’t — there’s no middle.

So we 3D printed the profile. Looked at it. Changed it. Printed it again and again. Once it was just right, Southern Lumber & Millwork milled them out of solid wood.
