Celebrating the grand opening of the new Hinckley Public Library! 📚🎉
This project transformed a former furniture store and longtime medical office into a vibrant community destination through the power of adaptive reuse, thoughtful planning, and strategic funding.
From the earliest stages, Williams Architects partnered with the Library to provide facility planning, concept design, and community engagement. Together, the project secured more than $2 million in Community Project Funding Grants, helping bring the Library's vision to life.
The renovated library now offers welcoming public spaces, flexible meeting and study rooms, accessible amenities, and modern staff areas, creating a place where the community can learn, connect, and grow for years to come.
Congratulations to the Hinckley Public Library and everyone who made this milestone possible! Special thanks and mention to Rylie Roubal, library director, for her vision and hard work and to former and current library board members for their support of the project.
