In 2 weeks Fingerlakes Renewables will start installing our 22kW solar panel system on our new building. Together with some supplemental power generated from our solar panels at our Urban Farm this system will create all the energy we need to power our building! Big thanks to Green Mountain Energy Company for their contribution that is making this renewable energy system possible!

We are definitely excited to get rolling on this job-our first non profit using direct pay option with the IRC federal tax credit and domestic materials adder! We are also super glad to NOT have been on the roof in the recent weeks of 90degree temps! Instead we've been on an off grid install on a renovated farm house about an hour and a half north of us; ground mount array and the electric in a very lovely cool basement!
After the 57 module install in Binghamton (Mission 395s and Enphase IQ8+ with Ironridge standing seam clamps) we'll be rolling to a couple of solar plus storage jobs more local.
Such exciting times!

While we wait for zoning approval was a great time to hook up the home office by more than doubling solar input as well as processing a deer last week. Site visits and design for the upcoming frozen tundra week, and rolling into install territory once the utility,zoning and weather gods align!

This is NOT YET passed but set to hit the floor of the senate possibly next week. Busy busy times ahead!

As written in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, the tax credit will begin at 30% and step down to 26% in 2033 and 22% in 2034.
