Big progress at our Santa Clara custom home. The pool was gunited this week, and the final touches are starting to come together throughout the landscape.
It’s exciting seeing the outdoor spaces begin to take shape and fully connect with the home itself.

Every detail is coming together to create a space that feels intentional, functional, and built for the Southern Utah lifestyle.

Checkered tile has made a comeback, and when it’s done right in a bathroom, it feels timeless instead of trendy. The contrast, pattern, and movement it adds can completely transform a space while still feeling classic and elevated.

We especially love it in bathrooms, where it creates character and makes even smaller spaces feel intentional and custom. It’s proof that some design elements never really go out of style... they just come back refined.

There’s a shift that happens right after framing… When windows go in, arches are formed, and the details start to take shape.. you can finally see how the home will feel.

This is where structure becomes something more.

Out in Kayenta, framing this home means framing the landscape with it.

Every window placement is intentional... capturing the red rock views and bringing them into the space.

This is what building with the environment in mind looks like.

Roof design is more than just picking a color... it’s about layout, pattern, and precision.

Before installation, we take time to plan how tiles will be laid out across the roof... considering ridgelines, valleys, transitions, and overall symmetry. It’s a step that ensures everything looks intentional and performs the way it should.

Working alongside Stout Roofing on this custom home, this phase is where design meets ex*****on.

Not your average basement.

This fully custom bowling alley was designed specifically for this Entrada home... complete with a one-of-a-kind wall mural inspired by Southern Utah’s iconic red cliffs.

It’s details like this that turn a home into a true reflection of the people who live in it.

At Greg Ence Construction, custom means completely custom.

A space that feels both grounded and wide open at the same time...

In this home, a dining space paired with the grandeur of Kayenta through floor-to-ceiling windows. Expansive views, red rock backdrops, and natural light that changes with every hour... all while you’re gathered around the table.
