Jackman Utility District

Jackman Utility District Monthly Meetings are held here at the office on the second Wednesday of every month, at 6:30 p.m.

In 1997 the Jackman Sewer District and the Jackman Water District merged to form the Jackman Utility District. JUD provides water and wastewater services to over 500 residential and commercial customers in the Jackman-Moose River region.

UPDATE: Our crew worked hard in the harsh conditions today and water has been restored to Armstrong and Lake Streets! Those customers are now on a Boil Water Order. Thank you for your helpful information this morning and for your patience .

The water has been shut off to Armstrong and Lake Streets and we will be digging to repair the water main on Lake Street momentarily.

We are looking for a significant water leak this morning. We are trying to isolate it right now. Please call 207-668-7686 with any questions.

The boil water order in the trailer park has been lifted .

The Boil Water Order that has been put into place from 496 Main Street, north, has now been lifted. The water is safe to drink. We will be hand delivering notices tomorrow morning. Thank you for your patience.

We feel we have a service line leak somewhere between Mountain View and the train tracks (including side streets). Please check any seasonal or vacant homes. Thank you.

Update! Water has been restored to all water customers. Please remember that all residents and businesses (including side streets) north of 496 Main Street are on a Boil Water Order. We will work on taking samples next week to lift this Order and will update again then. Great job Team!

Update: We are still working to repair the main break at 496 Main Street. All is going well, it is just turning out to be a very time consuming project. A reminder that all water customers, including side streets that are north of 496 Main Street, will be on a Boil Water Order once water is restored. Thank you for your understanding and patience, we appreciate it.
