We have another pond rehab in the works. This one had a blown out emergency spill way and lots of overgrown brush on the levy. We have removed all the silt and brush and started to repack the levy with good clay. Overflow pipe going in tomorrow. This one is coming along nicely.

Another one done! We removed all the trees growing up around the pond and also removed about 6ft of silt out of the bottom. We then added two feet of good clay to the top of the levy and rolled it for good compaction. Spread top soil back out to re-establish the grass.

This pond was so over grown with willow trees and leaking it was about useless. We have removed about 3’ to 4’ of silt out of the bottom and stored behind the levy to dry out and smooth over later. We have also removed all the trees around it and on the levy to help prevent more leaks later down the road. We have started repacking clay in the levy cut to get it back to its original state.
