Brownie is a 2-year-old male shepherd mix with a handsome chocolate-and-tan coat and a bright, cheerful personality to match. He is also the Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning “Warm Your Home” Pet of the Month. That means Lammers will pay the adoption fee in full for anyone who adopts Brownie this month from the Cascades Humane Society.

At 54 pounds, Brownie is a sturdy companion with beautiful, short fur and expressive features that make him hard to resist. True to his happy-go-lucky nature, Brownie brings a fun and upbeat energy wherever he goes. He’s the kind of dog who enjoys life to the fullest and would thrive with a family that appreciates his playful spirit and affectionate demeanor. Whether it’s time for a walk, some playtime, or just relaxing together, Brownie is ready to be your loyal companion through it all.

Brownie is neutered, microchipped,and up to date on vaccinations, so he’s all set to head home with his new family. There were a ton of dogs and people present Saturday at Cascades Park. But did you cross paths with the one lamb that was present?

Leo, the Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning mascot, had a great time during Paws at the Park, an annual event that supports the Cascades Humane Society - Jackson, MI. It was an absolutely beautiful day and a great event. Thanks to the Cascades Humane Society team for all the good work they do in our community.

Raise your paw if you're looking forward to this year's Paws in the Park event. It's not that far away!

Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to be a sponsor of the event, which starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30 at Cascades Park. It will be a fun-filled family- and dog-friendly day that provides important financial support to the Cascades Humane Society - Jackson, MI.

The event will feature a 5K run/walk at 10 a.m. and the Woof Walk at 10:15 a.m. Save the date and we'll see you there!

Welcome to the team, Owen Gogol!

Each year, as part of the Jim and Kathy Desy Work Experience and Scholarship Program, Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning gives local graduating seniors the opportunity to apply for a $1,000 scholarship or a paid summer work experience.

Owen, a Grass Lake High School graduating senior, was selected this year and started working with our team recently as a paid summer employee.

“I have always enjoyed hands-on work and learn best by doing,” Owen wrote in his application to the program. “My brother is an HVAC technician, and hearing about his experiences sparked my interest in the field. This opportunity would give me a strong start, help me get on my feet in the HVAC field, and allow me to begin building a stable and rewarding career in the skilled trades.”

Owen has made a positive first impression. He's a very personable young man with a great attitude and a strong interest in learning the trade. Congratulations and welcome to the team, Owen. We look forward to continuing to work with you.

Jerry is also the Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning “Warm Your Home” Pet of the Month for May, which means we will pay the adoption fee in full for anyone who adopts him this month from the Cascades Humane Society - Jackson, MI.

This young guy is full of potential and ready to find a family who will help him continue to grow into the amazing companion he's meant to be. Jerry does wonderful with both children and adults, and he truly enjoys being around his people. Whether it's playtime in the yard or relaxing at home, he's happiest when he's included.

Jerry would do best in a home without cats. He can be slow to warm up to other dogs, so any potential canine siblings would require patient, proper introductions. With time and guidance, Jerry is capable of building confidence and building positive relationships, but he may also thrive as the only pet where he can soak up all the love and attention.

Jerry is heartworm positive, and with proper treatment and veterinary care, many dogs with heartworm go on to live long, happy lives. Jerry is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He's looking for a committed family who will stand by him, support his health journey and provide the love and stability he deserves. In return, he'll offer unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and plenty of joyful tail wags.

Stephen Gipson is a service technician who joined the Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning team early this year.
