Joel K. Little, 68 of Wolf Creek, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Born on September 30, 1957 in Jackson, Kentucky, Joel lived a life marked by dedication to his family, faith, and community.
Joel was the proud owner of Jackson Window and Siding where he built a successful business through hard work and commitment. His entrepreneurial spirit and determination left a lasting impact on those who worked with him and benefited from his services.
Faith played a central role in Joel's life. He was a devoted member of Full Gospel Deliverance Church and also attended Providence Pentecostal Church. His involvement in these churches reflected his deep spiritual convictions and his desire to serve others.
Joel cherished time spent with his family above all else. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Irma Ramirez Little; his mother, Ruby Spicer Little; and his five sons: Jason (Donna) Little, Kevin (Kayla) Little, Brian (Kayla) Little, Juan (Jennifer) Little, and Ernie Meza, Jr. and his daughter, Lorena (Ben) Hubbard. Joel was also a beloved grandfather to Ashlee, Katie, Nathan, Kyrun, Ava, Noah, Jacob, Abby, Gracelyn, Roman, Bryson, Joeleen, and Johnica. His sisters Naomi (Jack) Mitchell, Ruth (Bill) Collins and Bathsheba (Raymond) Carpenter also mourn his passing.
He was predeceased by his father, Gordon Little and two infant grandchildren who now rest alongside him.
Joel found joy in simple pleasures like fishing and hunting but especially treasured moments spent with his grandchildren. His love for family was evident in every aspect of his life. Whether sharing stories or attending church together, Joel’s presence brought warmth and unity to those around him.
Visitation for Joel will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at the Breathitt Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with his funeral service scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM with Robert Butler and Gary Bellamy officiating.
Burial will follow in the Little Family Cemetery at Wolf Creek with Jason Little, Kevin Little, Brian Little, Juan Little, Ernie Meza Jr., Nathan Little and Jacob Little serving as pallbearers.
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." II Timothy 4:7,8.
