Today we’re celebrating a big milestone for one of our own, Chris Dennis!
Chris has been a part of the Mid State Construction team for 10 years, and his impact out in the field as a superintendent does not go unnoticed. His dedication, hard work, and commitment to getting the job done right are a big part of what keeps our projects moving forward and our standards high.
In an industry where every detail matters, Chris continues to represent what our team is all about - reliability, leadership, and pride in the work.
It takes a lot of commitment to reach a 10-year milestone in construction, and we’re proud to have Chris as part of the Mid State Construction team. We truly appreciate everything he brings to the jobsite and the example he sets for those around him.
We’re grateful to have him on our team and look forward to many more years ahead. Congratulations on 10 years, Chris!

Celebrating a True Milestone!
Alan Gunn has been an integral part of Mid State Construction for 35 years, making him our longest-tenured team member. Over the decades, Alan has exemplified loyalty, dedication, leadership, and expertise, earning the respect of coworkers, subcontractors, and clients alike. His work ethic is second to none.

Starting his journey with Mid State in March of 1991, Alan has grown with the company and now serves as the general superintendent, guiding projects and mentoring the next generation of construction professionals. His hard work, knowledge, and commitment have been foundational to our success, and we are proud to celebrate this incredible achievement.

Thank you, Alan, for everything you’ve contributed to Mid State Construction. Here’s to many more years of building trust together!

We’re proud to announce the completion of The Exchange Church in Pearl, MS!
As part of their “Project Old Made New,” this expansion transformed this 35,000sqft space into a dynamic space designed to better serve the community, including flexible areas for children’s ministry, groups, and classes. The congregation officially moved into the renovated space in October 2025, marking a major milestone for their growing ministry.
It’s been an honor to partner on a project that supports a mission focused on serving the city and creating a life-giving environment for the Pearl community.

We’re proud to be building Brightview’s new branch office right here on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland, MS. This space will feature a drive-thru designed for faster service, a secure 24/7 ATM, a welcoming lobby with coffee, and convenient parking. All created to serve Brightview members with comfort and efficiency.
Projects like this remind us that construction is more than steel and concrete. It’s about creating places that bring people together and make everyday life a little better.
