Yesterday’s culprit: honey locust.

If you know these trees, you know exactly why it was time. The little banana-like leaves never really stop falling, and somehow they manage to show up in every corner of the yard and the neighbors’ yards… and the neighbors’ neighbors’ yards 😅. Then they turn brown and just keep going.

It’s one of those trees that looks fine from a distance, but keeps you busy up close.

Another one gone and a lot less cleanup ahead for the homeowner. (stump left per customer request)
