🏕️ The guys are trading in their tools for some trail riding this weekend! 🛠️➡️🍂

Yesterday, the Alpha & Omega crew loaded up and headed out for their annual guys' retreat at Camp CoBeAc!

They'll be spending the weekend hitting the trails, enjoying some good food, listening to preaching, and just having a great time together!

This is something the guys look forward to every year, and it's a great opportunity to step away from the busy work schedule, have some fun, and spend time together outside of work!

We are so thankful for this crew and the hard work they put in throughout the year! They definitely deserve a weekend of fun! 🧡

And judging by the pictures, I think they're having a pretty good time! 😂

A little progress update on the BRAND-NEW HOME we're building! 🏡🔨

I stopped by the job site yesterday to drop off a sink for the guys, and of course, I couldn't show up empty-handed, so I brought them some doughnuts too! 🍩😁

I figured I'd better sweeten them up a little before I started following them around with my camera again! 🤣📸

But seriously, it's been so fun watching this home come together! From the beautiful tile work in the shower to the custom cabinetry going in, our guys have been hard at work bringing this home one step closer to completion!

And the exciting part? We're just a few weeks away from having this entire home COMPLETELY FINISHED! 🏡🧡

🚧 WHAT DOES THIS THING ACTUALLY DO? 😂

I think I found my new favorite worker at Alpha & Omega… at least this one doesn’t complain when I show up to the jobsite with my camera. 😂📸

We added this SkyTrak telehandler to our equipment lineup earlier this year, and I think it’s safe to say everyone loves having it around! It has already come in handy on so many of our jobs.
But what does this thing actually do? 🤔

Unlike a regular forklift, a telehandler has a boom that extends outward and upward, which allows our guys to lift heavy materials and get them where they need to go, especially when we're working higher up.

We can use it for things like:
🔸 Lifting lumber and other heavy building materials
🔸 Getting materials up to higher areas of a project
🔸 Moving large loads around the jobsite
🔸 Unloading deliveries
🔸 Saving our guys from moving everything by hand 😅

And those big tires aren't just for looks! Telehandlers are built to handle the rough and uneven ground you find on construction sites, which makes them much more useful on our jobs than your typical forklift.

The forks you see here are also just one attachment that can be used with a telehandler. Different attachments can make these machines even more versatile depending on the job!

It may just look like another big piece of orange equipment, but having the right equipment makes a huge difference in helping our crews work efficiently and keeping projects moving.

And like I said, this one doesn't run away when it sees me coming with the camera, so it's definitely my favorite. 😂📸

😂 So glad the boss doesn’t actually have one of these… especially when the office crew has to admit they ordered something wrong AGAIN. 😭😂

Just another perfectly normal day at Alpha & Omega. Nothing to see here. 😂

A bathroom worth showing off. 👏

From the large walk-in shower and built-in bench to the tub, tile, and countertops, there are so many details in this bathroom that came together beautifully!
We love getting to take a space and turn it into something completely new for our clients. 🔨🧡

Thinking about remodeling your bathroom? Give Alpha & Omega a call and let’s start talking about your project!

What does a day of running around for Alpha & Omega look like? 😂📸

Some days I’m in the office answering phones and working on marketing, and other days I’m out running all over getting pictures of finished projects, dropping off yard signs, and whatever else needs done!

Today Charity got to tag along with me for three stops and help me get some content 😂🧡

Just a little behind the scenes of what goes on around here!

Apparently I bring the guys’ least favorite thing to the jobsite… my camera. 😂📸

I ran out to check on our exterior crew the other day and get some progress pictures of this attached garage they’ve been working on. As soon as I showed up, Daniel said something along the lines of, “You always come out here and bring our least favorite thing… your camera.” 😂
I’m starting to think the guys would rather see just about anything pull into the driveway than me with my camera in hand. 😂
BUT look at the progress they’ve made!!

This project started with the existing garage you see in the first picture, and our crew has been hard at work building out this new attached garage. From the concrete to framing, walls, trusses, sheathing and now getting it under roof, it has been pretty cool watching this one come together!
Sorry guys, the camera isn’t going anywhere. 😉📸
Can’t wait to show you the finished project! Stay tuned!!

🔧 TOOL OF THE WEEK! 🔧

This week we’re switching things up and heading into the office for Ethan’s favorite tool: his TRACKBALL MOUSE! 🖱️😂

Ethan swears this thing makes his job easier. The rest of us? Not so convinced. 😂 My mom and I complain about it every time we have to use his computer, and usually end up hunting down a normal mouse instead!

Unlike a regular mouse, this one stays in place while you use your thumb to roll the ball and move the cursor. Ethan uses it every day while working on estimates, project details, scheduling, plans, and everything else he keeps moving in the office.

Apparently once you get used to it, it’s great...

Ethan loves it. Everyone else hates it. 😂

Okay guys, so a little funny story about opening up the shop… 😆

Ethan (the office manager) and I are always “fighting” over who gets control of the music. 😂 Basically, whoever gets here first gets to pick!

If Ethan gets here first, we get to listen to his boring Majesty Music ALL DAY 😫😂 But if I get here first, we get something a little more upbeat… or as Ethan likes to call it, my “honky tonk” music. 🤠🎶

Let’s just say I win the music battle more than he does. 😌😂

So come along with me this morning as I open up the shop… and most importantly, get here before Ethan so I can pick the music. 😂😁
