Severe weather can happen with little warning, and when it does, every second counts. If you have a storm shelter at your home in Madison County, we encourage you to make sure it is registered with the Madison County Fire Department.

Registering your shelter helps first responders know exactly where it is located on your property. In the event of a tornado or severe storm causing structural damage, this information allows our crews to quickly locate your shelter and check on anyone who may be inside.

If your storm shelter is not currently registered, please contact the Madison County Fire Department at 731-424-5577. Our team will gather a few important details about the shelter’s location and add it to our reporting system so responders can access that information during an emergency.

Good morning everyone hope everyone made it safely through the storms last night. Time to get the week started. Headed out to install some of our outdoor shelters. We also have the garage floor shelters and above ground safe rooms min the garage.
