It's hard to believe that a month has passed since we finished paving Teton Pass! Over the past year, our dedicated crews have poured their efforts into every detail of the Teton Pass reconstruction project, from establishing a temporary two-lane highway just three weeks after the road failure in June 2024 to this moment. We're thrilled to see our communities reconnected once again! Here's to watching them flourish in the years ahead, worry-free!

Evans Construction is seeking a hardworking and motivated Asphalt Plant Laborer to support operations at our production site in Jackson, WY! This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within the construction and asphalt industry! Training will be provided in all aspects of plant production, maintenance, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with manual clean-up and maintenance tasks around the plant and quarry

Operate a variety of equipment including bobcat, loader, broom, compactor, and jack hammer

Help truck drivers with backing and material dumping

Perform pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment

Follow instructions from Foreperson or Supervisor

Adhere to safety and regulatory standards set by OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other agencies

Support plant repairs and stone relocation

Ensure plant areas remain clean and washed out

Show consistent and reliable attendance

Qualifications

No prior experience required—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Must be able to lift, shovel, rake, and perform physical labor

Basic understanding of safety procedures is a plus

Comfortable working around heavy machinery
