I had the opportunity to speak with children inside the Duval Juvenile Detention Center.

And this is the lesson that stayed with me.

Where you are is not a reflection of Who you'll become, especially when you have the courage to believe in yourself before life gives you proof.

Some of us were given a blueprint
Some of us had to draw one while we were living it

Either way, in this school of life, we are both the student and the teacher.

Make sure you're teaching yourself well.

BUILD
Land + construction: $330K
Down payment: $16K
Loan: about $313K
Equity: about $136K

The difference is when you buy, you’re paying for the builder’s profit. When you build correctly, you can create the equity instantly.

I used to think ownership was about what I could build.

The properties, businesses, assets, and opportunities.

Life is constantly teaching me ownership must be what I’m willing to answer for.

The more I build and the more that touches name the responsibility comes with it.

You can’t have things without having the maturity to own them.

Real ownership is being willing to carry the wins and answer for the consequences too.
