One of the highlights of building is revitalizing marginalized communities, learning the history of communities, and employing neighbors during the build process.

I met this lady, named her auntie, learned of her story, and allowed her to contribute to the building of a new home on land that her and her family once occupied and owned.

I remember casually telling my then 18yr old daughter to sketch a house out on a piece of paper (because she draws very well). Neither of us visualized how her sketch would materialize into this beautifully built home- 2 years later, but here we are ✨

Despite the challenges, the greatest reward is reshaping lives, leaving my fingerprints on life which proves I’m here, and putting my legacies in position to carry forth the mission.
