I just inspected this roof after Hurricane Helene, and the damage is no joke! 💨 Several shingles were ripped off, exposing the roof to potential leaks and further deterioration. This is a perfect example of why it's crucial to inspect your roof after a major storm like this.

One of our recent calls for help was from a homeowner with a 10 yr old roof. It was in good shape and not leaking. His concern was the fascia boards that were mysteriously rotting. He meticulously mantainins his home and paints fascia but it was rotting. After our inspection, we noticed the furring strips behind the drip edge hung about 1/8" below the drip edge allowing water to wick upward and onto the fascia instead of flow away from the fascia. We installed drip edge extentions to stop the water from wicking and protect is fascia from future damage.
