I have started a forestry consulting business after working for over 30 years in the forest industry as a timber buyer and eventually a wood procurement manager. My experience includes managing over 80,000 acres of foundation and endowment forest for the NCSU-College of Natural Resources and the NC State Natural Resources Foundation, Inc. which included the Hofmann Forest in eastern NC. Timber utilization, timber marketing, and timber management are my areas of expertise. This expertise is for hire to the general public to help forest landowners optimize, protect, and enhance their timberland investments. Whether you are a small landowner or large landowner, I can help you with any forest management decision. For the first time in my career, I am able to focus on helping private landowners with my acquired knowledge and understanding of our rich timber resources found in our state.
