All boards and coasters are oiled and waxed. Proper maintenance is required in order to preserve each piece. Rinse boards with soapy water and hand dry immediately. Do not put it in dishwasher or soak in sink. Store in upright position to allow air flow to continue to dry. Depending on usage, applying wax or conditioner may be required more often. It is recommended based on average usage of a board that it should be maintained at least 1x a month.

I lost a few resources that I had been using for a while to help create some projects. Because of that I’ve had to refocus the business. I’ve decided to pull back a little for now. I’ll still be building projects but not as often as before, at least for a while.

This is Baltic Birch, butcher block counter top is one we’re currently working on. It’s not finished quite yet. I’ll share the finished project when ready.

This was a last minute request from and for a good friend. I was given a reprint of our Declaration of Independence and asked to frame it. The pictures don’t do much justice. This is by far, the most professional looking piece I’ve built so far. I tried keeping it as era proper as possible. The mat backing, mahogany accent, walnut frame and decorative maple overlays, all contrast and accent the reprint very well. Both the recipient and I are very pleased with it. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The checkered set is made from Walnut, Oak and Cherry. Next time I’ll stick with just 2 of the 3. Though these were hand made and I’ll continue to hand make some, I have some bigger plans in r&d and am excited to see what can from that.

I’m waiting for the Purple Heart to regain some of that purple luster, (it turns brown when worked and through time, UV light returns it to it’s purple color) and then I’ll finish and wax it. 🔫🔫 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

This was a fun build. Though I will not be doing these regularly, I have a few ideas if I choose to build another.

Please share the posts of my projects you like with your friends and family. I’m located in Eastern NC for local purchases.
