Earthy greens, warm terracotta, and natural tones may remind us of fall, but in architecture, the real consideration is how these colors and materials work together.

Construction is taking shape at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Residential Village Phase 4.

Designed for Florida's coastal environment, the mixed-use facility incorporates precast concrete construction to support long-term durability and hurricane resilience while bringing student housing, academic spaces, and parking together.

As construction progresses, the project offers a look at how design decisions translate into a building that supports everyday campus needs while responding to the challenges of its environment.

A look back at PQH Group Design's work with the U.S. Postal Service.

With more than 10 post office projects throughout Florida, PQH's portfolio includes facilities that bring architectural character to an essential public service.

In this project, a series of arches extends along the building's façade, leading toward a prominent entrance tower. The red tile roof, covered walkway, and warm exterior finishes complement the surrounding Florida landscape.

Together, these elements give the building a recognizable architectural identity while maintaining its familiar function as a neighborhood post office.

As temperatures begin to ease in Northeast Florida, outdoor spaces become an even more important part of how people experience a place. 🍂

In 2002, PQH completed the restoration of the Nassau County Historic Courthouse, originally built in 1891. The work included restoring the historic courtroom and bell tower, removing a portion of the 1950s annex to bring greater prominence back to the original courthouse, and updating the building for continued use.

More than 20 years later, PQH had the opportunity to work with Nassau County again, this time completing interior renovations at the Justice Center.

Returning to a longtime client and continuing to support their facilities years after an original project is something we’re proud to be a part of.

The Phase 2 residence hall at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott campus continues to take shape.

With the building exterior largely in place, work is progressing across the surrounding site as paving, pedestrian connections, and other site improvements come together. The new residence hall will expand on-campus housing and support a connected student experience.
