Porter/Janitorial Positions
EastCoast Land Care Inc is currently seeking porters/janitors to fill positions available at the St Johns Town Center Mall. (DO NOT CALL MALL!)

This is a position that requires you to work outside in the elements most of the day. Responsible for cleaning and serving assigned areas, willing to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis as assigned. Applicants must be flexible in their schedules to work days, nights, weekends and holidays and endure long hours of continuous work when called upon to do so. Physical effort required by the job includes standing, walking, stooping, pulling, pushing and lifting 25-50lbs on regular basis.

-Background check.
-You must have reliable transportation to and from work.
-Drug-free lifestyle.
-Must know how to use common house cleaning implements; such as mops, brooms and scouring pads to keep areas clean and well serviced.
-Must know how to care for equipment, how to measure solutions and be alert to hazards.
-Ability to follow oral and written instruction in English.
-People friendly!! Customers of the mall will ask questions, we assist as much as we can with a smile.

Currently seeking individuals to join our team here at the St Johns Town Center. We handle keeping the mall property clean and tidy. Maintaining clean restrooms, litter-free sidewalks and parking lots. Changing trash cans and keeping play area clean.

Must be at least 17 to apply. You will be working at an outdoor mall so realize hot, cold, raining weather at times. As long as the mall is open we work year round, extended hours during the holiday season.
Starting $10.00 per hour.

Requirements:

- Experienced and skilled landscape maintenance workers.
- Knowledge of how to use commercial equipment.
- Drug free workplace.
- MUST have reliable transportation to and from shop.
- MUST be able to show up on time and be accountable.
- Ability to inspect properties to insure the proper service.
- Attention to detail with an eye for safety hazards.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work alone.
- Strong communication skills and team work is essential.
- Strong work ethic / self-starter.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
