As the revitalization of Laura Street continues to take place, we are pleased to be part of bringing a great tenant experience to The Residences at Barnett.

The new ownership of Becovic Management Group of Indiana plans to add a kitchen and bar, fitness center, stretch and mobility space, billiards, rentable storage, laundry area, media lounge, conference and cowork uses, a lounge, leasing and offices, and a podcast room, along with mechanical and other space.

Another step on the road to making downtown Jacksonville a great place to live, work, and play!

The signs are up on the corner of Laura Street and Monroe! Look for construction to start late Fall, 2026. In the meantime, we’re thrilled that is activating the outside patio for Artwalk. Last night, this central corner in Downtown Jax was, once again, filled with life and activity.

It's the stories behind the walls. It's the lost history that's uncovered. It's working with the clients on the projects who are also thrilled to uncover the past and bring an old and abandoned building back to life. This is why we love doing what we do.

This is an important day for one of these clients. Today, Eric Adler, owner of The Raven is commemorating the life of Bessie Coleman, the first African-American woman to get her pilot's license. As part of this extraordinary historic renovation, the funeral log was discovered that recorded Coleman's death in Jacksonville, while falling from an out-of-control plane, on April 30, 1926.

The Raven and Ritz Villa will be honoring Bessie Colemen together in small commemoration this afternoon.

Earlier this month, we had the privilege of celebrating a special milestone with many of you at our Ribbon Cutting, with help from the JAX Chamber. The event marked the expansion of our office, creating more space for our growing team and the exciting work ahead.

From the pizza oven and coffee lounge to the bocce ball and pickleball courts, every part of the space was thoughtfully designed to better support our team, serve our clients, and create opportunities to gather with our community.

More than anything, we love seeing these moments bring people together. The conversations, laughter, and relationships built are what make events like this so meaningful. We’ve shared a short video recap from the day, and we’re especially grateful to Prattify for capturing the smiles, memories, and energy so well.

While awards are never the reason we do this work, it’s incredibly meaningful to see a project recognized, especially when it reflects a client’s vision brought to life and the dedication of everyone involved. The Raven represents the kind of redevelopment that creates lasting impact, bringing new energy and opportunity to the LaVilla neighborhood. We’re proud to have played a part in this tremendous team effort.

More exciting momentum in Downtown Jacksonville! The historic Ambassador Hotel is being transformed into Hotel Merrydelle, a 109-key boutique property and Downtown’s first lifestyle hotel.

We’re looking forward to diving into the work alongside our incredible partners at Gateway Jax, Campo Architecture & Interior Design, and The Indigo Road Hospitality Group to help shape the future of Pearl Square. We’re especially excited to continue working with Indigo Road just around the corner on The Oak Steakhouse in the historic Greenleaf & Crosby Building. Steve Palmer and his team are bringing some truly wonderful concepts to our city!

The $50 million renovation of the former Ambassador Hotel will include an Italian restaurant concept from a hospitality group that's already committed to multiple other projects in the same downtown district.

Today we spent the day beautifying a lovely “Fun Garden” outdoor community garden and play area in Springfield as our quarterly community give-back project. In collaboration with other community partners, we are giving this incredible space a facelift, complete with a new fence (Thank you ), an awesome new welcome sign (thank you, ), and a fresh coat of paint on the fun playhouse (Sherwin-Williams of San Marco). This urban space in Springfield is a welcoming outdoor “third space” between work and home—a mix of botanical garden, lounge, discovery zone, and resource hub. It’s a vibrant public space for play, learning, and connection.

“It’s a living outdoor space in which community can exist!”

The fence has been installed and today we helped paint the play house and hang the new sign to get the place ready for the upcoming Home and Garden Tour!
