For August we're highlighting Sam Holloway! Sam is a project manager for our East Division and is always on the ground, ready to jump into a project.

Hometown: Jacksonville, Florida

Hobbies: Outside of work, I love to travel, get out on the golf course, and go for a run. Anything that keeps me moving and exploring.

Biggest or favorite project to date with Bellingham: Safe Harbor St. Kitts, without a doubt. The project's remote island location meant every detail from ocean freight logistics out of Jacksonville to equipment and material planning had to be mapped out well in advance, all on a tight schedule. Executing a project of that complexity in such a short window was incredibly rewarding, and it doesn't hurt that St. Kitts is one of the most beautiful places you could ever work.

Why you like working for Bellingham: No two projects are ever the same, the variety and uniqueness of the work keeps things exciting. But what really makes Bellingham special is the people. I get to work alongside an amazing group of colleagues, and the company's commitment to innovation means we're always finding better ways to build.

Progress continues at Main Beach Marina on the Gold Coast.

Arms B, C and D are now complete. The next phase will focus on Arm A, along with the installation of two gangways over the coming weeks.

We supplied the floating pontoon and gangway for The Waka Hub in Napier, New Zealand.

This fantastic community project will become New Zealand's first purpose-built home for a traditional Māori voyaging canoe, creating a space to celebrate Māori culture and the country's rich maritime heritage.

We're proud to have contributed to such a meaningful project.

It's August and our calendar winner is the Port of Bandon. Instrumental to the city of Bandon for recreational, commercial, and environmental projects, the marina was redeveloped by Bellingham Marine. The marina has 86 slips, an accessible kayak launch, and can accomodate vessels up to 200ft!

July's employee spotlight is on Emari Ford. Emari is based out of our Frames Division and leads the crews in installation, repairs, and maintenance!

Hometown: Pamlico County, North Carolina.

Hobbies: I love to garden and cultivate what I have grown. I also enjoy DIYing and pottery.

All-Time Favorite Project: Waterfront Villas and Yacht Club. I especially enjoy demos and rebuilds. Waterfronte was a multi-phased demolition and rebuild of a timber frame dock system.

Why I like working at Bellingham: I love working with Bellingham because there is nothing quite like the satisfaction of building and installing beautiful marinas while making our customers happy! Every single project brings the opportunity to learn something new. Being out in the field keeps me constantly traveling, exploring new places, and bringing fresh ideas to every dock we build!

Proud to be featured in Marina World's look at the New Orleans Municipal Yacht Harbor, rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina. Since reopening in 2020, the marina has weathered four hurricanes. This is a testament to resilient marina design in action.

Having seen multiple storms, the marina now functions as an example of how a well-planned, resilient facility performs under pressure.
