Hello, my name is Edd Cobb,

I am the founder and owner of Superior Inspections. I started Superior Inspections to assist home buyers in making educated and enlightened decisions about the home they are looking to purchase. After 20 years of construction management and owning my own remodel business, I decided it was time to help home buyers avoid some of the pitfalls that I had seen people get in

to when they purchased a home. My experience in building homes from the ground up, and also taking them apart and rebuilding them to a higher standard, gives me a greater understanding of what to look for in an inspection. My instructor at American Home Inspectors Training, where I received my certification, said to me “Edd, you know far more about the workings of a home than I ever will, I am going to teach you the inspection process.” I consider that a great compliment from an inspector who has done thousands of home inspections and has trained hundreds of home inspectors. Before the walls go up, it may be your last chance to inspect HVAC and exhaust ductwork that will soon be hidden.

On this inspection, we found multiple sections of damaged ductwork that could have gone unnoticed until they caused airflow or moisture issues later.
