Hello friends! It's been a good long bit since our last post so I figured it was time for a check-in and update from us.Unfortunately, I didn't keep you all up-to-date with some of the work we did last season out in the field and I hope to get some of those projects posted at some point, but we had a very productive year, learned a lot along the way, and made a positive impact in the community.
The rapidly growing interest in the pollinator gardens has been wonderful to be a part of and the understanding that we need to focus more on local communities and food security has found us evolving as a business to be able to incorporate all these factors into our garden designs.
All the above has also been the push to get our new endeavor, Fassett Farm Nursery, to open this coming spring! Accessibility to plant selections that are not only beautiful but native, pollinator/wildlife-supporting and also providing fruit and nuts to us is not easy to find. We are aiming to be your local destination that will be propagating these plant species for sale as well as providing garden design and installation.
We will not only be a place where you can buy your plants, but also a place to gather for conversation and immersion into the beautiful natural landscape that we have at the base of Mount Monadnock.
We will aim to host educational workshops along the way in the hopes that we, as a community, can work together to repair our damaged soils and landscapes collectively and rejoice with a region of abundance.
In the coming weeks we will be building a new website/page for Fassett Farm Nursery and will aim to keep you all updated. In the interim, please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected] or at 603-831-1322.
Looking forward to seeing you all this spring !!
