Stormwater emergency response 🌧️👇

We were called out to one of our client’s commercial properties after heavy rain caused flooding through the carpark and into the building.

The issue came down to completely blocked stormwater pits... filled with dirt, leaves, and debris, stopping the system from doing its job.

What we did:

• Pumped out excess water from the site
• Cleared multiple bins worth of debris from stormwater pits
• Restored flow through the drainage system
• Cleaned up the affected areas

Everything back up and running with no further flooding ✅

This is a good reminder why ongoing maintenance is key! without regular checks and cleaning, these issues can quickly turn into costly disruptions for businesses.

Accurate Diagnosis. Targeted Repair 👇

We were called out by a long term client dealing with a sewer blockage. They’d previously been told the issue was under the front driveway and that it would need to be ripped up to properly repair.

We weren’t convinced...

Based on the sounds of our Jetblaster, we were able to gauge the location of the blockage underground. After exposing an old inspection opening in the garden bed that was hidden by a rock, we gained access and were able to relocate closer to where the blockage was.

Here’s what we found and did:

• Cleared the blockage using our jetblaster
• CCTV inspection showed a collapsed section of earthenware pipe
• Located the issue near a recently installed street sign
• Turns out the sign install had damaged the sewer line
• Excavated and repaired the affected section properly

Best part? we were able to pass the repair costs onto council, saving the client $$ in repairs. Amazing 😁✅

Shower leak repair done right 👇

We recently helped out a friend who noticed water and mould coming through the carpet in the bedroom next to the shower.

After inspecting with a thermal camera, we found water had been escaping the shower area due to no waterproofing membrane or angles.

So we stripped it back and repaired it properly 👇

What we did:

• Demo of existing wall and floor tiles
• Installed new waterproofing angles + plastic angles to stud work
• Corrected subfloor fall with self levelling compound
• Installed new fibro cement sheeting
• Primed and applied a full 4 coat waterproofing system
• Retiled the area (matched as close as possible to existing)
• Installed new shower screen
• Replaced all grout with epoxy (old grout ground out)
• Installed new shower tapware

No shortcuts - just a proper fix ✅

Revesby stormwater upgrade 🌧️👇

We recently completed this job for a client dealing with multiple drainage issues around the property:

• Blocked and overflowing gutters
• Heavy ground runoff during rain
• Stormwater drains full of tree roots, dirt & debris

What we did:

• Cleared and cleaned all gutters
• Installed new downpipes to properly direct stormwater away from the structure
• Added ag line drainage to stop water undermining the foundations
• Excavated and repaired a damaged section of stormwater pipe affected by tree roots
• General clean out of all drains with Jetblaster and cctv camera

Everything now flowing as it should ✅

(And before anyone asks... the crushed rock was left level as the backyard is being resurfaced by the client 🫡 )

Sewer repair without ripping up the driveway 👇

We received a call from a client who was referred to us after dealing with ongoing sewer blockages caused by tree roots entering a damaged section of pipe. After assessing the situation, we recommended a patch reline as the most cost effective solution.

This allowed us to repair the pipe internally without disturbing the client’s stencilled driveway.

The process involved:

• Investigating the site to determine the best access point for our pull rope and packer installation
• Manually excavating and locating an underground inspection opening to gain access to the sewer line
• Performing a non invasive patch reline to repair the damaged section of pipe
• Completing all works within the day and leaving the area clean and tidy with minimal disruption

Job done - another happy client ✅

From Problem to Solution 👇

Our client was dealing with a faulty LPG instantaneous unit that just wasn’t cutting it. They were running out of hot water and burning through gas bottles every couple of months... costly, inconvenient, and far from efficient.

We took advantage of the new solar panels recently installed on the roof and suggested a smarter long term option - a 315L Rheem electric storage tank.
This system can be set to run during the day while the sun’s out, making use of the home’s solar power. A much more efficient option that helps reduce ongoing costs - no more bottle changes, no more hassle.

We handled the full changeover from gas to electric, including all new pipework and setup. Thanks to our electrician Eric for helping get the system wired up perfectly ⚡️

And special mention to our apprentice Andreas - the bloke’s been going hard on the tools lately and it’s not going unnoticed 👏

Another solid result and a happy customer! ✅

💦 Boosted Pressure, Happy Client!

We recently helped our regular client Rob out in Casula who was struggling with low water pressure around his home, especially at the showers and garden taps.

After assessing the mains pressure, we installed a new pressure pump system along with fresh copper water lines and garden taps 👌👌

He noticed the difference immediately and couldn’t wait to get stuck into watering the garden again!

We also added a pressure limiting valve (500kpa) to keep the system safe 👌
